Rashi
Mithuna Rashi Meaning
Mithuna rashi (Gemini) spans 60° to 90° of the sidereal zodiac. Its symbol is the twins, its ruling planet is Mercury (Budh), and it is a air sign. It covers the second half of Mrigashira, Ardra and the first three padas of Punarvasu. In panchang, the Moon's rashi gives the daily Chandra rashi, and the Sun's entry into Mithuna is Mithuna Sankranti.
In Simple Terms
Mithuna Rashi is Gemini, the 3rd sign of the sidereal zodiac. Its exact use depends on the wider panchang context: tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, vaara, and local sunrise.
